We know many of our customers are looking for our "low discharge" LiPoly cells and packs, that is 10.5C, 12C and 15C. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to source them from our manufacturer, and we have not, as yet been able to find another reliable and good quality source.

Prices of LiPoly batteries are at an all time low, which is good for the consumer. Unfortunately, it has made it very difficult for us to provide quality batteries at a fair price. Not that we are being just a bunch of "whingers", but being located in Australia has put us at a disadvantage to those businesses operating offshore for the following reasons:

1) We have to pay duty and GST on the products which we import;

2) We are restricted by Australia Post Regulations and cannot send any batteries other than via Road Transport Only. This means our outback customers, serviced only by Australia Post aircraft, and our overseas customers can no longer place an order with us. Many of the overseas suppliers are either ignorant or deliberately flout these Postal Regulations, and as far as we are aware, none of them or their customers have been taken to task for breaking these regulations;

3) High cost of Postage and Freight within Australia. Some of the overseas suppliers postal charges are much lower, as they are subsidised by the respective Postal Authority or Government in the countries in which they are based;

4) Australia is a small market, and the economies of scale do not make it viable to make purchases in large quantities, hence large discounts;

Be that as it may, we still have our customer service, and from what we have seen in respect to a well-known Web-based hobby business based in Hong Kong, customer service is virtually non-existence, especially when it comes to the repair or replacement of defective products. So customers beware, you may be able to buy it cheaper overseas, but in the long run, it may cost you much more.

We have stock of several sizes of genuine JST XH plugs (Male & Female) for those of you who need them. These are not yet advertisied in the catalogue on this website, but you can email or phone your enquiry or order in, and we'll attend to it promptly as always. We also carry T-Plugs (Deans Ultra-type), Deans Micro-type, and Multiplex-type Green Plugs.

As you may be aware, we are diversifying our product range, moving away from being a predominantly LiPo distributor/supplier to one with a wide range of products, both RC-related and completely unrelated. Some of the reasons for this are listed below, but this being a family company, we have other non-RC related business and interests, which we intend to place under the "umbrella" of the one company.

We import, supply or have manufactured overseas, mainly in China, a multitude of good quality products for the Corporate Gift & Promotional Items market in Australia. The products range from simple fridge magnets, cooler & sports bags, squeeze drink bottles, stubby holders, hats, caps, T-Shirts, Staff Uniforms & Clothing, Towels, Vinyl Banners & Advertising Signs, Printing of Corporate Brochures & Lab Record Books, Thermal Underwear and Adhesive "Glue" dots.

One of our reasons for going into the LiPo Battery business, was to offer our customers good service and "value for money" products as many suppliers out there were only concerned with making large profits. We believe the same applies to our other businesses too, and our philosophy to offer a good product at a reasonable price still stands. So keep tuned to the up and coming changes to this site.
